Selesnya Conclave Tattooby ~Zephind

My very first tattoo, and proud of it! I’m quite a sucker for Magic: the Gathering lore, especially the Ravnica lore.

By far it’s my favourite setting/plane/lore, and I’m in touch with the ideas of the Selesnya Conclave: peace, life and community. Plus, the combination of White and Green mana makes wonders, especially if you play Enchantments (I own an Enchantress deck, and it’s my trademark for four years now!)!

Everything fits, from the ideals of the guild, to the semblance with the Yggdrassil and the Tree of life teachings.

I’m proud of it. And it won’t be the last tattoo I’ll ever have.

Now, for the thecnical part:

This crest it's the same as descripted in Magic The Gathering design and more stylized for Return to Ravnica set. Since the images were quite small and of lesser quality, I solved that by painting over it, zoomed. But with a slight variation of leaves that crown the art of the new Guildmaster: Trostani, Dryad Triumvirate.

And well, the tattoist he's quite close to me. This wonderful work over my skin was made by my friend

makes me want to go through and actually get an Izzet tattoo
My friend says he wants all the guild symbols in a circle on his back, similar to the Tablet of Guilds card

Now, that's a good decision, the Signet of the Dracogenius it's beautiful in design, and their philosophy explosive and emotive!
Like in the good old days that people tattoed their backs with the sigils of the vampire clans from Legacy of Kain saga, it's good to upgrade that with the circle of the guilds today.
