Daedalos Minotaur Study

The fourth of seven drawings about the Seven houses in the roleplaying world of a friend of mine.

This time, the House Minotaur, with a... minotaur. xD

The client wanted a 300 look on this minotaur, and so, as a good boy I am, I drawed his minotaur.
My very first miotaur, and it just hasn't the typical bull head! ;D
I researched (obviously) for minotaur images, some very useful, other, pretty... R-rated (I'm talking seriously! xD).
But I wasn't in the right mood to draw a bull. I know I should do it, but honestly I wanted to try something different. If you see the mind flayer, it's pretty different of the normal ones, so basing myself in this idea, I decided to make a somewhat hybrid face between the bull, and a barbarian. Possibly human. xDDD

And so, there you have, the warrior from the Minotaur House, standing guard against the foes from the Empire.
You'll wonder, where is the Falcata (Iberian sword from the pre-roman period)?

If you see, the drawing it's pretty big. Big muscles, big horns, big spear, big shield, big hoofs, big etc. If I put there a big Falcata in it's scabbard, the drawing would be more obsolete as it is. It just hurt me a lot to cross that spear in front of the minotaur's chest... XDDDDD
